It's Spring!

When Curly came yesterday we went on an adventure in the woods, albeit a short one because I'm so hugely pregnant I couldn't walk for too long up and down that uneven terrain :P D and Curly had a blast together, so I really can't wait for Cia to make her appearance so we can go on longer walks together!

We fed the 'buggabugga's' as Curly calls them, and gathered their eggs, and then changed and headed to the church for dinner. The food was good, the company was a little...odd, but all-in-all it was a good outting.

There was a moment of awkwardness in the middle of dinner, a random teenage-ish kid was sitting next to us, he asked me when I was due, I told him, then D needed my attention, so I wasn't paying attention to the kid anymore... He turned to Curly and asked him 'so is the baby a boy or a girl', obviously assuming Curly was the dad and we were a little family. Curly didn't hesitate too much though before saying 'it's a girl'. He didn't correct the kid for his obviously wrong assumption.

We headed home after that and D passed out on the short drive back. He stayed asleep when I carried him inside, so Curly and I cuddled a few minutes in my bed, but decided we'd better watch a movie before we passed out too. Neither of us had had a nap and Curly had had a long day Friday, so we were all beat.

The Nightmare Before Christmas was the movie of choice, as it's my favorite, & Curly had taken a seminar on claymation the day before. We cuddled up on the couch and watched about half of it before D woke up and joined us.

Curly had his hand on my belly and I was kinda playing with his fingers since I don't know how to be still... and Curly randomly was like "It's crazy how teeny Cia's hands are going to be, aren't newborns fingers like this big?!" and showed me approx the correct size of a nb's fingers. It was so sweet that he obviously gives Cia some thought, and isn't too terrified of her being born if he's thinking about her hands. I realllly hope things don't change for the worse when she's born, because I still think Curly is amazing.

Ohh and best of all, he brought me a present... Pepper spray! In a cute pink container that clips onto a key ring! haha <3
